… on the side for early-stage startups, SMEs and Freelancers

Over the past 20 years {millennial here}, I’ve worked with all kinds of companies, particularly startups. One thing I've noticed again and again is that early-stage startups often struggle with their finances more than they should really. Is estimated that 90% of startups won’t survive and about 40 - 60% can be related, directly or indirectly to poor financial management.

And let's not get me started with SMEs and freelancers, :)

In late May, I decided to turn this idea into reality in my spare time. Before that, I was sketching out plans, working on the design on paper, Google Sheets, Miro, Notion and Figma.

And the best part. I’m not doing this alone. I started building EvryThink on the side, connecting with amazing people to validate my idea, at the end of the day I’m a Super User. And what’s most important bringing on an incredible co-founder, Ramon Sanchez, an award-winning Cannes Lions product designer. Ramon also with 20 years of experience in product, he focus on empathy and building products for everyone. That’s extremely important for EvryThink because we aim to transform founders, entrepreneurs and freelancers in into financial wizards.

Check {click below} out his work; it’s fantastic.

Together, we’ve been working on the design, building our first MVP, and now we’re almost ready for beta testing.

So, what is EvryThink? It’s a platform that aims to fix the financial struggles of early-stage startups by offering a simple yet powerful tool. We’re not just another finance app; we’re an all-in-one financial solution. The best will cover everything from people and headcount planning and expenses to revenue, with future versions including accounting, tax, inventory and more.

*some features will not be available on the early beta

But we’re not stopping there. EvryThink will also have a marketplace with essential documents and resources for startups, a deals section offering discounts through our partners, and a directory of professionals to help you stay on top of your finances. You can even let your accountant access the platform.

And the best part? We’re building an Ai layer that will automate most of these functions. Our goal is for EvryThink to act like your finance team, so you don't have to hire extra staff early on when you should be focusing on developing your product.

I’m excited about this and can’t wait to see how EvryThink will help other startups thrive. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward in the next couple of months.
